BIOGRAPHY
After being in the business for over 15 years, Elizabeth has worked as an actress, writer, stage manager, teacher and most recently, producer. Elizabeth was born and raised in the Silicon Valley, and then went to college with hippies, vegans, and yuppies at University of California, Santa Cruz. While at UCSC, Elizabeth was cast in the world premiere of Shakespeare Santa Cruz’s Cinderella: A New Telling of an Old Tale as one of the evil stepsisters. Playing to thousands of people, she was introduced to the professional theatre community at a young age. She went on to perform and stage manage in two SSC summer festivals and earned her B.A. in Theatre Arts in 2001. In 2001, Elizabeth moved to Los Angeles to study at The American Academy of Dramatic Arts – West. After graduating in 2003, she went on to perform in shows all over Los Angeles and Orange County and received glowing reviews in publications such as The L.A. Weekly, Backstage West and StageSceneLA. Elizabeth has worked as an independent producer since 2008 and has mounted numerous theatrical productions such as The Sermons of John Bradley,The Why Factor: Proportion Distortion, LOFT ensemble Variety Hour and Tracers. Her original writing series Untitled Word Project encourages artists to delve into a different specialty in order to grow and explore. In 2009, Elizabeth moved into filmmaking and produced her first short film, Winner Takes All shot on the RED camera. Elizabeth has also produced three webseries projects: Ordinary Girl, Bar Monkeys and Dumbass Filmmakers, which she also co-created and stars in. Dumbass Filmmakers is set to launch soon. This past August Elizabeth participated in the Los Angeles division of The 48 Hour Film Project, producing a 7 minute short film called Azimuth. Elizabeth has worked as an actress throughout California and has also taught children through various educational programs in Los Angeles. She holds degrees from University of California, Santa Cruz, The American Academy of Dramatic Arts - West and Foothill College. She has studied acting in New York and London and is a proud member of Actors’ Equity Association.
